Buddha Jayanti Park


The park is located at the southern region of Delhi ridge on a beautiful manmade island. It was constructed on 2500th anniversary of Lord Buddha’s enlightenment and houses a golden colored Lord Buddha Statue. A type of Bodhi tree located in Sri Lanka is also planted at this park. Buddha Jayanti Festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm at this garden every year in the month of May.



Nehru Park,


Named after India's first Prime Minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the park is extended over the long area of 80 acres located close to the heart of the city. It is also a major destination of music concerts, cultural events and yoga and meditation classes and picnics in the city. A popular Shiv Ji Temple, swimming pool and café is also located inside this garden. It is a wonderful place for hangouts in sunny winters.
